Biography
Casey H. Kenton serves as a Senior Advisor for Sperry Van Ness/Miller Commercial Real Estate specializing in the sale and lease of commercial and investment property in Sussex and Kent County, Delaware. Mr. Kenton spent his first six years working as an agent and associate broker with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Rehoboth where he specialized in the sale of residential developments, commercial and specialty properties.
Notable career highlights include the listing and sale of a 146 acre development tract approved for a 300+ residential subdivision near Milton, Delaware, the sale of a 5,300 sq. ft. fully leased office complex in Lewes, Delaware and the sale of a 75,000 sq. ft. former canning operation/converted warehouse in Milton, DE. Kenton was also involved in the sale of the former Cape Henlopen Motel in downtown Lewes, Delaware. Several of Kenton’s awards and recognitions earned under Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage include the 2003 Rookie of the Year Award, 2005 & 2006 President’s Club member and the 2006 Outstanding Achievement Award.
Mr. Kenton is currently pursuing the prestigious CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation and has plans to become a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) to help clients diversify their portfolio between real estate and financial securities. Active in his community, Mr. Kenton currently serves on the Beebe Hospital advisory board and is also an active member of the Positive Growth Alliance.
Mr. Kenton is a life long resident of Sussex County and earned a B.A. in Economics from Washington College in Chestertown, MD. Kenton is a certified private pilot, is an avid outdoorsman, enjoys traveling and competing in triathlons with his wife Heather. They currently reside in Rehoboth Beach, DE.
